4 Paws for Ability
and
The Dixon’s
join forces to raise awareness!
4 Paws is a non-profit 501c-3 agency that places service dogs with children and people of all ages and disabilities (except for Seeing Eye dogs.) They help miracles happen!
We (the Dixon’s) are volunteering to help raise money for this great organization. In return, 4 Paws will place an Autism Assistance Dog with our son, Phillip. This special animal is hoped to bring a whole new world of independence to Phillip by helping him to walk alone (while holding onto his own ‘special’ leash, and giving him support to hold when going up and down stairs.) The dog will be taught searching skills in case Phillip ever slips away, un-noticed. We are also praying that this special creature will become Phillip’s friend- because he has so few.
If you would like to give a monetary donation- please send your check (or money order) to 4 Paws at the address below, along with a printed (or written) donation sheet (see below). *Please be sure to write Phillip’s name on the memo part of your check so that he will receive the credit for your donation!*

Autism, Epilepsy, Cortical Dysplasia
A combination of these three
Is what you can’t see
In an angel named Phillip
To whom you are the key.
We are educating minds
To open some doors
For a five year old boy
Who’s touched our hearts and now yours.
We are asking for help
Making a plea.
Please make a donation
One dollar or three.
Five, or ten,
Or a few dollars more.
Every penny counts
For what we have in store.
It’s all tax deductible
And every penny will count.
We’re raising eleven thousand dollars
And that’s not such a large amount.
When it comes to helping a child,
We hope you’ll come through.
His life can be GREAT

He’ll be getting a dog.
He’ll be getting a friend.
A four legged pal
On whom he’ll depend.
When Mommy’s not home
And Daddy’s out of sight
There will be some’one’ to lay on,
To watch over him through the night.

Some’one’ who’ll help him
With all of their might.
It will give him independence
Help Mom and Dad too.
